Peace is a green world in my mind
Happy children in the alleys
White parrots in a quiet jungle
Hopeful mom with smiley face
But
These are just dreams
The world got dusty
The jungle burned on a hot day
Alleys were ruined in a bomb blast
Children’s noises disappeared in the air
Mom lost her vision when she looked out the door
Where is the peace that I've never seen?
Where is the peace that is in my dreams?
Where is the peace that I want to feel in my heart?
That is my wish for every child?
That is mystery and hidden
Perhaps one day we will join together!
Walls of hatred will be torn down
We will start a happy life
But that is far away
